"The Rules" sounds very strict, but I actually couldn't think of another title and wanted to get on with writing these pages, so it's here for now.

In order for a volunteer cooperative endeavour like a web ring to succeed there is need for some (small) amount of direction. This ring is reviewed, insofar as submissions are checked against a small number of criteria meant to keep the ring "on-topic" and not open to just anyone who comes by.

• Your page or site must concern itself primarily with Sunbeam and/or Rootes Group automobiles. If you have relevant content on a page of other material, break that content off onto a page of its own and submit that page.

• You must carry the webring controls somewhere on your site, preferably on your home page or a links page. Don't break the ring! Right now the controls block isn't very fancy, nor probably as complete as it could be, but it's a reasonable start and very harmless. Contact Me if the controls do not work well for you and you would like some help with an alternate version. Feel free to submit alternate versions and they'll be available from here.

• You are responsible for maintaining your site information with the WebRing system. Administration is all web-based with e-mail confirmation. See WebRing Management for details, or at the very least Ask Me to help.

• You do not wrap other member's pages in any of your frames. This is unfair and possibly damaging (view-wise) to others' pages.
