You get automatic exposure from other Sunbeam pages and sites in the ring, in exchange for putting this block of links

somewhere on one of your pages, and being a good citizen.

First, you have to join the ring. This can be done from Submit My Site, where you supply some information about your site and yourself and submit it to the WebRing service. You ought to read the rest of this page and The Rules before going on though. You may also want to read the WebRing Privacy Notice if you're really concerned.

You will then be notified by e-mail when you are "queued" for insertion into the ring, along with further instructions, including your Site Id and the fully-completed HTML code block you need to paste into your home page. You may wish to edit the HTML code further, but be careful with the fancy URL references. You can insert the HTML code right away, but only the List and Random functions will work.

Once you've inserted the HTML code, wait for the ringmaster - the queue is checked daily. You will receive e-mail when you are "inserted" into the ring or if there is a problem. The rest of the HTML controls will be activated automatically.
